Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BidAuthor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

BidAuthor is an AI-powered proposal generation platform that helps teams create RFP responses from their company knowledge base. The Service includes document management, AI proposal generation, editing tools, team collaboration, and related features.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy.

5. Credits

AI features consume credits. Credits are included with your subscription plan and reset each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over. Additional credits may be purchased separately.

6. Your Content

You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the proposals you generate. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without authorization

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by BidAuthor. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service according to these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BidAuthor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases and your data is deleted within 30 days. You may request a data export before termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
